ARTIST NOTE - Painting the light in the tropics, for me, is quite a palette change. I have stayed in Coral Bay, St.John, U.S.V. I. several times, and each time a learning experience. The geography is a welcome change from my midwest home. I believe that an artist should periodically distance oneself from comforts, taking on challenges that enrich.
